If you don't like Glenn Beck, DONT LISTEN TO HIM. TH is getting out of hand with it's left-wing orientation, labeling and objective reporting. It is really annoying. You want an informative, unbiased, scientific environmental site, go to www.greencarcongress.com . Awesome site and no political ranting / illogical nonsense. Yea, he is a loon.... but so what, so are the raving lunatics Keith Olberman and Rachel Maddow. Where is TH on those guys...... When trying to get environmentalism in the thoughts of the average person, the LAST thing you want to do is point fingers and call names. How about present FACTS (not shaky-theory and kooky ideas) and benefits. What scares me is the morons who want to have someone banned from society b/c they don't like someone else's opinion.August 30, 2009 9:53 PM | flag a problem logicalTechGuy says: I'm not seeing where censorship is being called for. What I'm seeing is Americans informing businesses that by paying for Beck's show they are, to a certain degree, endorsing what he says. And therefore said Americans will not be shopping at their stores. Those participating in the boycotts are voting, in that most American way, with their wallets against Beck. There is no demand that Beck shut up or be fired or change his message, at least I haven't seen one. Want to start one against Olbermann and Maddow? Feel free. Start with boycotting GE who own MSNBC. Personally I stopped watching Olbermann after the GE/Fox agreement to stop Olbermann/O'Reilly feuding. I still watch Maddow because she's one of the best interviewers around letting her guests sink or swim on their own words. August 30, 2009 10:22 PM | flag a problem Kevin says: This is just silly. Why on Earth would Obama need to use Americorps as his personal army? He's already got ACORN!August 30, 2009 11:00 PM | flag a problem jk says: What I find hilarious (besides the sheer improbability of this idiotic scenario) is that the President wouldn't need to build an army. He already has one. It's called "The Army."August 30, 2009 11:40 PM | flag a problem Jason M. Bryant says: wow, that was waaaaay out there- even for FOX 'news', whats next- claiming the Girl Guides are the new KKK? If they turned up the laugh track-they might have a new comedy hit on their hands!August 31, 2009 2:51 AM | flag a problem Captain Craptastic says: Glenn Beck shouldn't be censored. However, I would wonder about the sense of one who listens to and condones his B.S. without checking the facts for themselves much less advertises on his show!August 31, 2009 7:12 AM | flag a problem Gerald Shields says: @Matthew: What in the world are you trying to say? @Richard: If you're comparing a civilian organization that focuses on enriching the lives of tons of underprivileged people around this great country with the doings of an insane German guy from WWII, maybe we should view you in the same light as Glenn here. I'm amazed that only a few months into office, there are already tons of conspiracy theories about secret armies, and fascist regimes. Do you people forget who we just got out of 8 years of office? Glen Beck is a moron. Period. Do you know how many people are helped through this program? Should he be allowed to stay on the air? Absolutely! That's what is so great about this country, we can say whatever we want, hopefully, wherever we want. However, the boycotts are also ok. And I agree with the person above who said, if you want to boycott Olberman and Maddow, go right ahead. That's perfectly allowed. However, I must say, at least Olberman and Maddow don't spew a bunch of crap that's no better than something from Weekly World News.August 31, 2009 9:09 AM | flag a problem Mike says: If you listen closely it sounds like Beck is trying to incite an uprising. He could be held at least partially responsible if one were to occur. I think it's important for both sides to be covered by big news companies, but guys like Beck are going to ruin it for the only conservative TV station. August 31, 2009 9:36 AM | flag a problem Mike says: While liberals are popping champagne corks, they forget that the sponsors haven't actually withdrawn from the Fox network. Walmart, et al will temporarily appease unhinged progressives, but reading the continuing slide in Obama's approval ratings which almost perfectly mirror his disapproval ratings, I give it about 12 weeks tops, and they'll be advertising on Beck's programme again. Even democrats are having buyer's remorse over Obama. @ Mike: "... if you want to boycott Olberman and Maddow, go right ahead. That's perfectly allowed." Hmm, that's funny? Going by their ratings, you'd swear people already are boycotting them -- in droves!August 31, 2009 10:16 AM | flag a problem donald says: @donald: "Hmm, that's funny? Going by their ratings, you'd swear people already are boycotting them -- in droves!" if thats the case, then so be it. Did you really expect the approval ratings to stay so high? The guy JUST got elected, of course they are going to come down some after the first few months. I dunno about "buyers remorse", as of course there are some thinks I think should be done better, he doesn't make all the decisions.
